I rarely get a chance to update this websight so I have taken my dogs, both proven and and otherwise off the sight so if you need nay questions regarding the dogs just please call me or email... I still left you with some interesting reading and pictures I hope..

Welcome to the websight of Direct Shot Kennels... My goal is to consistantly produce the best Working Terrier that I can. I am using the Gould/Nuttall dogs and crosses of the the two.. My Gould blood comes way of Scratch and Spartacus.. I have to say thanks to Tim Jent, Roger McCoy, David Mason, BBK, Eric Shebesta for the dogs I am feeding and keeping their part in making the working terrier true.
They are all hunted as much as I can get out and NO DOG IS BRED UNLESS IT DOES ALL I NEED IT TO DO IN THE FIELD.. Looks are not important to me at all, other than having a good healthy, sound body. I am not in these dogs to amke a confirmation correct dog, or sell to the general public. I want these dogs from me or anyone else in hunting homes ONLY!!! The dogs here in the South are useable if larger than most due to lack of groundhog. We hunt Raccoon and Nutria mainly and all dogs are worked IN GROUND on all game.. I will not breed a dog for the hunting public unless both male and female have consistanly shown to have all the traits I would want in a dog. Pups I have bred have matured to average 15 pounds. Take a young person or a new hunter out and show them a good time. If it weren't for my dad taking me hunting as a child and growing to love it I am scared to think how much further down the devil's road I would have went.
